My experience with animals is extensive. I was 18 months old when my parents brought home Cindy, an 8-week-old Kelpie X puppy, and later, another named Brindy, both of whom grew old with us. As a family of six, all animal lovers, we grew up with many different animals, including five cats and two dogs, which led to a couple of litters of kittens and puppies along the way. Growing up in the 80s was fun! We had guinea pigs, fish, mice, goats, a few different cows, and a calf too! Chickens were a must, and of course, horses! After I flew the nest, I have had five dogs, two rats, one cat, three guinea pigs, and lots of different aquariums since then! Now, I have my own family and have carried these loves into our children's upbringing. We’ve also raised chickens a few times in different home locations, along with another horse. Currently, it's just Koda and Latte, our gorgeous little Staffy and male rat. Latte is a total cutie who eats almost anything, a bit like chickens! He absolutely loves affection, just as much as Koda, our last remaining dog, a loving 14-year-old English Staffy who is crazy about tennis balls. Koda demands his special treats every single morning, tells you when it's 5 p.m. (dinner time), will roll over for a belly rub, and can't help but sit on any human who sits on the ground. For those busy moments, I also appreciate pet sitting services and dog daycare options to ensure my pets are well cared for. When it comes to plants, I'm all in! Plants are important to the indoor and outdoor environments of the home. They bring so much more than just a homely, natural feel; they filter our air! From the tiniest sprout in the vege or herb garden to the most magnificent ancient species of trees, they are important to us all, and I personally honor them. I also offer plant care services to help others appreciate the beauty of flora. I just love all things fauna and flora. I have life and its entirety to thank for my experiences and what they've taught me, which has led to a deeper knowledge and intuitive instinct about fauna and flora, including the importance of pet staycations for our furry friends.
